Looking for a fun and creative gift idea for the next teacher appreciation gift, birthday gift, anniversary surprise, etc? Here's a fun one for ya. A lottery filled balloon bouquet, anchored by sweet treats. Come on, who doesn't love sweets and the possibility to win some cash?!
Here's what you'll need:
- Balloons filled with helium and tied with ribbons (I used pearl latex balloons.)
- Lottery tickets
- Treat box
- Permanent marker
Instructions:
Roll up the lotto and place them inside the balloon before inflating. I purchased the balloons and inflated them at Party City and they provided coordinating ribbon as well.
Tips:
- Pick some translucent colored balloons so the lotto ticket becomes a visible surprise.
- Cut the corners round on the scratch-off lottery to avoid them popping the balloon.
Now it's time to fill your treat box. I used a box I had from Valentine's and covered it with a new sign.
Since I liked this shape I traced and cut it out on tracing paper to make a sign for the goodies inside.
Grab some fun tissue paper and pack your goodies inside. Who doesn’t love mini scones?!
Tie your balloons to your box.
Grab your permanent marker and write a message to whomever this lucky gift is for.
There you have it. A fun gift for teacher appreciation week (or for any occasion, really). Let us know what 'lucky' person you make this fun gift for. We'd love to hear from you so leave us your comments below. For more gift ideas for teacher appreciation checkout this post.
